A word from the

The stars have aligned to finally promote entrepreneurship! In Quebec, our young entrepreneurs are creative and extremely well trained, the demography is favourable to the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs and the economy keeps moving in a more innovative, digital, clean and global direction. We must seize this opportunity to help the young Quebecers start in their own project of business; the true alternative to self-realization.
This is why the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce (RJCCQ) is going to them to promote an entrepreneurial culture and to build innovative startup communities in all regions.
We wish to make this movement inclusive to allow “the emergence of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that connects all regions with Montreal, but also amongst themselves.” This is how and why our Caravane régionale de l’entrepreneuriat (CRE) was born.
The CRE will meet with the best start-ups from all over Québec until 2020. This process will start in the Fall of 2018 over 4 week-ends in Sept-Îles, Drummondville, Saint-Jérôme and Montreal. For each region, 10 local start-ups will be chosen based on precise criteria to pitch in front of a panel of investors. Each weekend will have 3 finalist or regional champion who will face each other at the Provincial Start-up Cup, in Montreal, on November 17, 2018. This Provincial Start-Up Cup will give out prestigious prizes that will help these businesses even more in their projects.
We are convinced that mentorship and education on entrepreneurship, at large, on a local and regional scale are important for the economic future of the province. This is the CRE’s main goal: to revitalize the entrepreneurial ecosystem in all regions of Quebec!
Join us in making the province of Quebec a leader in start-up development!
